My passion for health and wellness began during my childhood in the Fiji Islands, where I was surrounded by nature and had year-round access to fresh produce. My interest in nutrition and biology was sparked early on and grew during high school cooking classes. I went on to study nutrition and biology at the University of the South Pacifi
My passion for health and wellness began during my childhood in the Fiji Islands, where I was surrounded by nature and had year-round access to fresh produce. My interest in nutrition and biology was sparked early on and grew during high school cooking classes. I went on to study nutrition and biology at the University of the South Pacific before moving to Edmonton, Alberta, and continuing my studies at the University of Alberta.
Although few challenges prevented me from completing my university degree, this experience guided me toward a more holistic approach to wellness. While working part time in a supplement store, I pursued further education at institutions like the CSNN and Alive Academy to get qualified as Holistic Nutrition consultant. After four years in Canada and gaining experience in supplement store I purchased a supplement store in Calgary, which I successfully owned and operated for 16 years, helping people on their health journeys for nearly 20 years. My passion for learning and helping others has never stopped. With the rise of lifestyle-related conditions and conflicting health advice I feel there is a growing need for proper guidance. After closing my store last year, I deepened my knowledge by taking executive education courses at institutions such as Harvard Medical School and the Dr. T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies. With rigorous studies on evidence based approach to restoring health.
